I attended this year's [2026] JASPARC as a JB participant. Compared to last year, I think the biggest difference was the atmosphere. While last year's JASPARC was filled with the strong energy and passion of many young JBs, this year felt smaller and calmer, but also much deeper in many ways. Because there were fewer participants, we were able to have more meaningful conversations and share more personal stories with one another. Of course, I missed the unique excitement and energy that JASPARC usually has, but this experience allowed me to better understand the different roles within CISV, especially NJR, APJB, and IJB. I learned more about how these roles are connected, what responsibilities they carry, and how they each contribute differently to the JB movement. It also made me reflect more seriously on the kind of responsibility NJRs should have. One of the most memorable moments for me was the election session. Listening to the candidates' thoughts, values, and perspectives up close gave me a much clearer understanding of the NJR role. Since I had recently been encouraged to consider the role myself, but still felt unsure about what it truly meant. This year's JASPARC became a meaningful opportunity for me to learn and reflect more seriously about it.

What made IJBC a meaningful and memorable experience for me was the opportunity to meet new people from around the globe who share the same values and have a common goal. I really enjoyed connecting with people from different backgrounds learning from them and creating loads of memories together. My favourite memory was the closing ceremony where everyone had the opportunity to present a dance from their country, and the audience could participate. It was really amazing learning about other cultures as well as working together in order to manage and follow the dance steps.
