Here are some other cool projects IJB has done!
Local Impact Day at IJBC 2026
At IJBC 2026 in Bali, Indonesia, our lovely home staff organized a parternship with a local LMO, Bali Life Foundation. For the past two decades, Bali Life Foundation has been dedicated to bringing hope, empowering communities, and creating opportunities for children and families across Bali. They are champions in developing new opportunities for the local people who need it most.
During IJBC, each participant took the opportunity to write a personal letter to a specific child from the local schools and created a medicine and suplies pack as a gift for them. Participants also brought books from all over the world to donate to these schools.
Move For Peace Campaign
Move for Peace was a campaign created to raise funds to support IJB's mission to develop an international community of active global citizens through peace education and youth leadership projects. Launched in 2025, it aimed to encourage volunteers around the world to move for peace — doing anything, anywhere, from swimming to running.
The campaign ended up raising 2,192£, with every donation going toward funding the international JB teams' participation in IJBC 2026 and regional meetings!

IJB Football World Cup
The Football World Cup is a traditional football game, usually held between JBers from Europe and ROW (this stands for Rest Of the World) held annually during IJBC.
In IJBC 2007, there was an addition made in the allocation of players: one team was BOCCA Juniors (Bunch Of Countries of the Continent of America), and it played against a reformulated ROW (the new rest of the world). Each year, depending on the number and nationality of participants, the teams are chosen accordingly.

Human Arrows Project
Human Arrows was a project that sought to get as many people involved in raising awareness over a conflict around the world. It involved making human arrows around the world, pointing to a particular conflict, on Peace One Day, September 21st.
This, in order to raise awareness over the existence and consequences of that particular conflict.

Human Arrows Project in 2009
In 2009, Junior Branches around the world made a statement on Lithuania's new Law over the Protection of Minors.
This law was aimed at regulating and restricting public information that could be considered harmful to minors. The law was seen as a direct attack on LGBTQ+ rights, framing homosexuality as inherently harmful to minors, while also violating the freedom of speech, in which could be used to suppress a wide range of artistic, educational, and journalistic work.
For Peace One Day, JBs across the world joined together to make the human arrows project a dream come true.
